The bio

Bev Killick is one of Australia’s most seasoned stand-up comedians, working in the bold and brassy tradition with a high-energy, fearless style that keeps a room laughing from start to finish. A Queenslander who studied performing arts at James Cook University before moving to Melbourne, she sharpened her craft through clowning and improvisation workshops and years of touring the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane comedy circuits.

Her stage credits are extensive, including three solo shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, a Green Room Award nomination for ‘Sic Women’, and a coveted spot in the festival’s female-only ‘Upfront’ gala. She spent years as the opening act for ‘Puppetry of the Penis’, performing for more than 250,000 people across Australia, and has appeared in the musical ‘Busting Out!’ and the MICF Roadshow.

On screen, Killick has featured in ‘Kath and Kim’, ‘Preacher’, ‘Jack Irish’, ‘Sunshine’, ‘It’s a Date’, ‘Drunk History’, ‘Kinne Tonight’ and the film ‘The Very Excellent Mr Dundee’, alongside panel and guest spots on shows such as ‘Pizza’. She remains a popular live and corporate performer known for her warmth, quick wit and genuine connection with any audience.
