Carl Barron is Australia’s most popular live comedian. He grew up in Longreach in Central Queensland, the son of a sheep shearer, moved to the Gold Coast where he became a roof tiler, then headed to Sydney and decided to walk on stage at the Harold Park Hotel one night - and the rest is history. His non-threatening, observational style appeals to everyone.
He has touched the hearts of thousands of people with his gentle, self-conscious, relaxed and original approach to comedy. Since winning Comic of the Year and Best Up and Coming Talent in 1993, Carl has established himself as one of the most accomplished comedy performers in Australia and around the world, treading the boards throughout New York, LA, London, South Africa, Auckland, Ireland, Singapore, Scandinavia and Edinburgh.
Carl has over 50 TV spots to his credit and five of the top ten selling DVDs ever in Australia. His first DVD release ‘Carl Barron Live’ is the country’s highest selling stand-up comedy DVD in Australian retail history. His second show ‘Whatever Comes Next’ won Best International Show at the NZ Comedy Festival before its DVD release entered the charts at number one, where it stayed for over 12 months and earned an ARIA nomination.

Anh Do is one of Australia's most inspiring success stories, though his journey has been far from easy. In 1980, at just three years old, he arrived in Australia on a crowded fishing boat with refugees fleeing war-torn Vietnam. After surviving pirate attacks, dehydration and harsh conditions at sea, the passengers spent time in a Malaysian refugee camp before Anh's family eventually settled in Sydney.
Determined to make the most of his opportunities, Anh showed an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. During school he ran a fish-breeding business, and later opened a retail store that expanded to four locations. Although he was close to finishing a double degree in Business and Law and had job offers from major law firms, Anh chose a different path - stand-up comedy.
